Reisa began her career in 1990 at American Drug Stores dba Osco Drugs, as a Pharmacy Technician and was responsible for locating, dispensing, packing, and labeling prescribed medication. In 1994, Reisa advanced her career within the company to Help Desk Coordinator, Pharmacy Auditor, to Assist Manager of Third Party Contracting.
In 2000, Reisa joined Cigna Healthcare as a Pharmacy Analyst, then was quickly promoted to lead Financial Pharmacy Analyst responsible for six Midwest states, recouping millions of dollars annually. Reisa began her entrepreneurial life in 2005. With great passion, she birthed a new business True Tax Service, active member of the National Association of Tax Professionals, and in 2006 received her Real Estate license, active member of the National Associations of Realtors.
After 20 years in healthcare, she decided in 2010 to quit her full-time job at Cigna Healthcare to focus on her business full-time. That is when she became a real estate investor and started managing her husband’s security company, Millennium Security Phase I Inc., serving more than 150 employees with a minority MBE contract at O’Hare Airport located in Chicago, Illinois. In 2016 she received her License as a Private Security Contractor and birthed yet another business, True Security Inc. In 2016, Reisa opened an event space called TruEvents.
Reisa has been honored with a Pinnacle Professional of the Year Award and National Association of Professional Women Award. She is the President of the Alpha Chapter of Kappa Gamma Sigma Sorority Inc. She enjoys helping others and serving the community. She holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Robert Morris College. Reisa has a strong finance background and is experienced in assisting corporations with leading edge analytical skills. As an accomplished businesswoman, she decided to focus on empowering those within her community. She uses her platform to hire individuals within the community while providing the necessary training tools for their ultimate success. Not only is she a model employer, but she joined forces with other community foundations in order to empower disadvantaged families. For years she served as a staunch supporter of the ProPops Foundation, Inc., which focused on families without fathers in the home.
She is the mother of one daughter, Barbara, and grandmother of ten-year-old Eyonna.
